People assume that winter family photography isn’t great outside, but it totally is! I brought Oyadiyah and her family to the woods and we had an amazing photoshoot.

We actually took a few photographs in their home first as they wanted the variety. As you can see, family photography is more about the expressions and family connection rather than where you are.

The reason mid November is best for Beech woods is because the leaves are at their most orange. Not only that, but plenty of leaves have fallen to the ground which helps give that thick orange carpet and also ensures some light comes through the canopy so it’s not too gloomy.
