Fireworks at LGBTQ wedding at Orton Hall

Matt and Peter are the life of the party and when it’s their own wedding you know its going to be amazing!

I also knew Matt and Peter’s wedding was going to be brilliant when our Zoom calls never followed the usual pattern because we kept going off on tangents and having a laugh.

The day itself had fireworks both literally and metaphorically with Matt’s English contingent doing their best to try and out-drink Peter’s Slovakian contingent.

We’ll call it a dead heat (or should that be dead-drunk in the heat!).

In my research before the wedding I discovered the Slovakian word for Party is Party? Some things are universal, just like love, laughter and dancing your ass off!

Speaking of dancing, it was one of the most fired up dance-floors I’ve ever seen and I ended up sticking around until the lights got turned off!

A couple of weeks after the wedding a beautiful Hamper arrived for me from Matt and Peter - testament to what a kind couple they are and why they have so many friends.
