Wedding photos at the Courtyard hotel Stanwick

I loved creating wedding photos at the Courtyard hotel Stanwick because the venue has so many fantastic locations. There are elegant statues, mature trees, flower beds, quaint courtyards, a spiral staircase - everything a photographer needs to create beautiful photos for their bride and groom.

My bride and groom were Liz Cousins and Phil Donno, who were serenely relaxed throughout the whole day. I'd previously photographed their family portraits with their super-cute children Jade and Ryan, so we already had a good rapport going (very important with any kind of photography, but particularly wedding photography).

You have a couple of options for the wedding ceremony. There's the light and airy conservatory, or if you have a more intimate wedding of around 20-30 people there's a lounge area that's a fab combination of being both wonderfully snug and lavishly opulent.

The lovely wedding planner, Hayley, was extremely helpful in recommending the best places for the photography and enabled me to get up nice and close during the ceremony, without being obtrusive. We were also welcome to use confetti, which not all venues allow.

There's plenty of space for the kids to rampage around, so I was able to get lots of great photos of them happily romping around the grounds.

Here are some of my fav photos from the day.
