One of the great things about being a photographer is you get to meet so many great people every week. Although Jon wasn't a client - I met him when I advertised on Gumtree looking for a computer and online expert.

I had over a dozen people apply for the work I needed doing. But once I spoke with Jon there was no-one else I wanted to work with. I knew right away he'd be so easy and fun to work with. Not to mention his enthusiasm and skill.

We've worked closely together ever since, so when his lovely wife Alice gave birth to Teddy I offered to photograph him for them. As is often the way with photography sessions it ended up getting put on the back burner until Teddy's huge first birthday party. Over 50 people turned up at the village hall near Bungay in Norfolk for the family gathering. A testament to how popular Jon and Alice are. It was an honour to capture some images for them to remind them of a special time in their lives.

Oh and in case you're wondering who the Namibian is, it's Jon, not Alice... ....and I guess Teddy too in a way!
