Betty looked stunning on her aisle walk. She's a natural beauty but with some extra grooming from Pampered Pooch she looked ravishing in her lustrous coat. Fortunately she didn't pee in the aisle either....

Of course Betty is Martyn and Stacy’s beautiful Cocker-Poo!

When I first met Martyn and Stacy I asked them to describe their wedding in 3 words and they gave me 4: Happiness, fun, laughter and PARTY!

They could have added the word 'tears' too, because I could easily have done an entire gallery of tearful photos.

Martyn and Stacy were incredibly kind and relaxed from start to finish so its easy to see why there was so much love in the room.

As horse racing lovers they came up with a great idea to incorporate their passion into the wedding. They gave each guest a bet on the horse racing and then played the race on the big screen TV. Watching the guests cheer and despair in equal measure was great fun to photograph!

They also had the wonderful Luisa Calvo drawing caricatures of all the guests. It’s always a really popular addition to a wedding and gives the guests something tangible to take home and remember the day by.

After a short burst of rain the sun came out in time with sunset. But they didn't quite walk off into the sunset because there was still some serious and enthusiastic dancing to be done.

Why I love Thetford Farm Barn

What a ceremony room Thetford Farm Barn has! Beautiful, rustic, impressive and with plenty of light for photography, which isn't always the case with barn weddings.

Above the ceremony room is a mezzanine area called ‘The Hayloft’ which has a pool table. Its also a great spot for getting a big group photo of the entire guest list in one go.

Out the back of Thetford Farm Barns are meadows and a lake with a great view of the sunset and golden light streaming through the long grass.

Their team led by Georgia and Germaine are super helpful and organised too.

I can’t think of another venue in the area that can cater for 200 seated ceremony guests and 400 evening guests. It truly is a cathedral sized barn with the height to match!
