Autumn evening hedgerow

This hedgerow near Peterborough was taken on the road between Lutton and Polebrook. Oundle is the next village beyond Polebrook in North Northamptonshire.
I took three exposures and used HDR (High Dynamic Range) software to blend them together. I use Photomatix HDR software: go to www.hdrsoft.com for more details.
I used HDR because the sun was setting and obviously low in the sky so it was very bright - and I was facing it. Since I didn't have a definite shape to silhouette against the sunset I used HDR to try and control the excessive contrast in the scene.
It's done a great job and I've used the sponge tool to brighten the hedgerow further to enhance the golden glow that was already there naturally.
