This landscape near Peterborough was taken on the road between Lutton and Polebrook. Oundle is the next village beyond Polebrook in North Northamptonshire.
I took three exposures and used HDR software to blend them together. I then used Photoshop Elements to enhance the colours in the sky using the sponge tool.
Compositionally I used the framing technique. I used the two trees on the far right and left, the hedge along the bottom and the tree canopy above to encircle the lone tree in the field beyond. The sunset beyond finishes it off nicely.
This would make a lovely birthday or Christmas present for someone in the area if it was blown up to A3 or A2 size.
