Peterborough rowing lake

I went to the rowing lake in Peterborough one Autumn evening in 2009 and took this shot of rowing practice. I focused on the nearest boat and then used Photoshop to enhance the shot. I masked out the sky and then did a levels adjustment and blurred it slightly with Gaussian Blur. I then masked the water and did a levels adjustment there too. Finally I used the sponge tool to saturate the colours. Oh, and then I sharpened everything except the sky.
