I'm 34 and live in Peterborough, England.

I'm a photographer and a copywriter, largely because I can't choose between the two. With a background in marketing you'd think I would be a bit more targeted in my approach. However, I think the two disciplines are intrinsically linked. A picture can say a thousand words, but a thousand words can conjure a thousand images.

PETS PHOTOS AND FAMILY PORTRAITS
Life moves along at an alarming rate. When you're doing those 3am baby feeds it may seem like time is dragging, but in a few quick months that baby will be a toddler and then, before you know it they'll be out the door, only to return home for birthdays and religious festivals. I can't help you slow down time, but I can help you look back on all those happy memories by providing you with wonderful family portraits and photos of your treasured pets.

PHOTOGRAPHY TRAINING
Wedding photos and family portraits are one thing, but I'm assuming you don't want me to come on holiday with you! But, I can still help you with your travel photos. I provide one-to-one photography training, so that you can take photos just like mine. It's taken me years and lots of hard work to get up to this standard, but I can get you up to speed far quicker. You don't need to read dozens of books and magazines like I did. I have made many mistakes along the way and you can learn from my experience. I guarantee I will improve your photography immeasurably within the first lesson.

In no time at all you'll be able to excitedly show friends and relatives your stunning new photos and next time you go on holiday people will actually be pleased to see your snaps. They'll be even more jealous of your holiday too as your photos will actually do the place justice. No more disappointing sunsets, just happy memories and a new zest for life. Photography is a lovely hobby because it helps you notice and appreciate the people and the world around you, as well as the smaller things in life. A few lessons with me and you'll be hooked. The first 2 hour lesson is only £20 and then £20 per hour after that. Not bad when you consider this is a hobby that can actually earn you money. I have to pay double that for my chiropractor which isn't half as enjoyable! And remember, this is one-to-one training, so the course it tailored specifically for you. This means you'll develop at an alarming rate. I may have to stop coaching you if you start taking business off me though!

MY COPYWRITING EXPERIENCE
I have been a professional copywriter and marketeer for the past 12 years or so. I've worked for the technology giant Philips, international construction merchant SIG PLC and currently I'm a copywriter for a well known national charity. Corporate copywriting has been an excellent training ground because, let's face it, if you can make roof tiles or guttering sound interesting you deserve a firm handshake - and I should know as I was the Editor of the UK's most widely circulated roofing magazine for over 3 years.

I'm particularly interested in wildlife and travel writing and have become a regular contributor of wildlife articles for my local lifestyle magazine, Nene Valley Living.
